Ace Chimney

I only rate a star because there is no 0 option. Mike was hired to repair chimney and replace our chimney cap. A year ago. He left a mess of mortar in our grass on on our roof for us to clean up. Since he placed his homemade chimney cap we have had to repair it ourselves and now it has fallen apart. I do NOT recommend this company. He is not professional and a complete rip off!! Threw away $500 that day as we are going to have to have it redone at our expense.

Mike was very professional and a very nice person he did a chimney sweep and found cracks he repaired them. We were very happy with the fair honest price 😀 in October we had a pellet stove insert installed by a different company when they installed it they commented on how impressed they were with the work Mike did 😀 we highly recommend this business!

I had Mike come out to inspect two chimneys. One was a wood burning fireplace and the second one was a combination furnace/outside brick oven. I had a bunch of serious cracks as well as a big problem with water leaking into the house and down onto the back steps just outside the rear door of the house. I have a strong habit of obtaining at least 3 or 4 bids prior to choosing a company to perform the work. Ace Chimney charged me a minimal inspection fee that I'm sure barely coved his gas as I am in Gresham. After inspecting my Chimneys he quoted me a price. I hired him immediately for two reasons. 1. His price was way less than the other two. 2. He took the time to explain the problem I had and offered a couple of options to fix the problems. He showed up for the job and I was blown away with the custom made chimney caps he had made prior to coming to the house that day. After installing them and sealing up all my cracks, restoring and/or rebuilding parts that were missing or damaged, he showed me the completed job. Not only fixing or restoring what was agreed on, but he went above and beyond and tied it all into the flashing which needed some serious attention. It poured rain a day later and yesterday I get a call from these guys following up on the job checking to make sure nothing leaked. Not a single drop! That's what I call impressive service. I highly recommend this company for its workmanship, competitive pricing, and customer service on follow up.

This guys a rip off 30 minutes and over 900.00 for what he said would fix the problem, now I have a problem had service to my pellet stove today Ace disconnected my liner, got rid of the cap that fits over the liner, now the adhesive from pellet stove is all behind my pellet stove have to replace the cap and also the 3 feet of liner he cut off. ALERT HE doesn't understand pellet stoves. SCAMMER
