Fireplace works great now after William from The chimney company installed a gas insert with the right liner. I used to avoid the old wood fireplace because it was too much hassle. Chimcare came out to look at my chimney crown since it was beyond just sealing or patching. They ended up rebuilding the whole crown, and it looks solid now. The crew explained what needed to be done without making it confusing. Everything feels sturdy and should keep water out for good. Glad I got this fixed before it got worse.

The part of my chimney above the roof was damaged, so Chimcare sent James to handle it today. He took down the chimney just below the roofline and rebuilt it solidly. It’s all fixed now, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing while getting back to work.
