CityLine Chimney

Would not recommend at all they do not kno what they are doing at all. Paid 1800 and had a chimney fire after they told me it was safe to use . They told me no damage to my liner it was all good to go . Then they come back and want 8000 for a chimney liner 3 different guys 1800 and a chimney fire later they want another 8000 for nothing never ever even think about calling these guys please

I called City Line Chimney because of the $69 sweep they advertise, but once they got there it didn’t feel right. They pretty quickly started saying my flues were cracked and damaged and that I needed a liner, which is a big, expensive job. It felt more like a sales pitch than an actual inspection. That didn’t sit right with me, so I had another company come out for a second opinion. They actually took the time to show me clear pictures of the flues and explained everything. According to them, the flues were in great shape and looked like the fireplace had barely even been used. No damage and no need for a liner at all. After that, it was pretty obvious what was going on. The $69 deal seems like it’s just to get in the door and then push expensive repairs. I’d definitely recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to anything with them.
