⭐☆☆☆☆ A chimney cleaning was scheduled for Sunday, March 8th from 2:00–4:00 PM. After the technician changed the appointment time (which was switched back to the originally scheduled window), he still arrived more than 30 minutes late. When he finally showed up, he did not have the equipment needed to perform the job. Instead of completing the cleaning, the technician looked up through the firebox for less than two minutes and then stated that he would need to return with a ladder and that the cost would be higher than the originally quoted $95. The chimney is on a one story extension and is only about 25 feet tall. With a standard ladder, the cap is easily reachable without needing to walk on the roof. Accessing the top and removing the cap is a basic part of a chimney cleaning. While it was mentioned that some equipment had been stolen, that was known before the appointment. Arriving late and unprepared to do the work was very unprofessional. The situation felt like a bait and switch after time had already been set aside for the appointment. Due to the lack of preparation and professionalism, the appointment was canceled and another company will be hired to complete the chimney cleaning.

This morning my dryer wasn’t drying clothes right. Chimcare cleaned out the vent and got everything flowing again. Feels good not to worry about fire risks now. The price was fair too, so I’m happy with how it went!

Needed my chimney cleaned over the weekend. Chimcare came by and swept out all the soot and creosote. House smells fresh now, and I feel safe using the fireplace again. Really happy with how they handled it. Will use Chimcare again for sure!

We noticed some water dripping inside the house over the weekend. They sealed the cracks on the chimney and stopped the leaks. Everything’s dry now and I’m happy with how it turned out. Definitely will use again!
