⭐☆☆☆☆ A chimney cleaning was scheduled for Sunday, March 8th from 2:00–4:00 PM. After the technician changed the appointment time (which was switched back to the originally scheduled window), he still arrived more than 30 minutes late. When he finally showed up, he did not have the equipment needed to perform the job. Instead of completing the cleaning, the technician looked up through the firebox for less than two minutes and then stated that he would need to return with a ladder and that the cost would be higher than the originally quoted $95. The chimney is on a one story extension and is only about 25 feet tall. With a standard ladder, the cap is easily reachable without needing to walk on the roof. Accessing the top and removing the cap is a basic part of a chimney cleaning. While it was mentioned that some equipment had been stolen, that was known before the appointment. Arriving late and unprepared to do the work was very unprofessional. The situation felt like a bait and switch after time had already been set aside for the appointment. Due to the lack of preparation and professionalism, the appointment was canceled and another company will be hired to complete the chimney cleaning.

They fixed the water pooling on top of my chimney by reshaping the crown so it drains right. No more standing water after the rain. These guys did a solid job, apple valley, mn people should call them

My neighbor actually noticed the top of my chimney was crumbling and told me about it. So I called The chimney company and they came out the same day. The tech spent about three hours up there, tearing down the damaged bricks from the roofline and putting fresh bricks and mortar back in place. He took his time making sure everything was solid and even cleaned up all the mess before heading out. Now the chimney looks way better and feels solid as ever.
