We noticed when it rains we smell ash inside our house even when we aren’t using the fireplace. We called and Mike came out and diagnosed our problem areas and fixed them. He took his time and great care to educate me as a homeowner about the condition of my chimney and how water was getting in and from where. He tuckpointed the bricks of the chimney, filling in the gaps and created a weather resistant chimney again which stopped the water and eliminated the ash smell. Having a fire smells good, wet ash doesn’t! I’m very satisfied and highly recommended Mike from Midwest Chimney Service!!

We had Mike out to clean our chimney and replace our flashing. He did a great job. We had been struggling with our chimney leaking for several years. We have had multiple companies come out to repair it but it would always leak again after a big rain. We are confident that Midwest Chimney actually repaired it right this time. Mike is extremely knowledgable and explained to us what the other companies did wrong and he fixed it.
