My furnace was slowly destroying the brick chimney and staining the LR ceiling due to the build-up of condensation in the flue, a common issue with newer high-efficiency systems. Seems the former owner of my house skimped on having a proper liner installed when they upgraded the furnace. Jon set a date to come look at it, arrived on time, answered all my questions, and sent a quote (the same day!) to install a stainless steel liner. Once I accepted the quote, the job was scheduled less than 2 weeks later. He showed up with his dad (again on time), did everything he said he would, left the work area cleaner than it was before he started, and stuck to his price. No surprises.
