A&M Masonry (Mark Elmer) did a masterful job parging the sandstone walls of my basement and garage, and the bottom of my brick chimney. He is a true craftsman! My house is 134 years old. He removed loose and crumbling mortar from between the sandstone blocks and perfectly matched the mortar texture and color. He cleaned up the jobsite well and worked hard. His work exceeded my expectations and the price was fair.
Excellent work, above standard, professional, and honest. A rare find! We highly recommend them!
Mark & Carey did an incredible job bringing our chimney back to life. They cleaned, poured a new crown, tuck pointed, and replaced our clay flues. They seemed to be priced fairly and I felt they had my best interest in mind from the start. Their communication was genuine and accommodating throughout the process. They were enjoyable to be around, kind to our kids, and helped educate us. You can tell they are experts in their craft & proud of the work they put forth. They showed up on-time, worked diligently on hot days, and did a beautiful job. Our chimney is now structurally sound and restored. I am so appreciative of them & highly recommend.
Always stick with the professionals! We unfortunately hired (on another person's recommendation) someone who does masonry "on the side" to do some work on our 1866 cream city brick home. Big mistake! Shoddy work and a huge mess was left behind. Not so with A&M! Professional from start to finish: great looking work, and a spotless clean up afterwards! Go with the professionals. Go with A&M! Thanks, Mark & Carey! UPDATE 6/2025: Had A&M back out to do some additional work that we hadn't elected to do last year. It was done incredibly quickly, and came in at much less than the verbal estimate Mark gave me. The work, of course, looks great. Thanks again, Mark and Carey and A&M!
