The Fayette Chimney Sweep

Great service and very honest. They’re knowledgeable and always put safety first. They did an excellent job restoring my fireplace, and they even came back to replace a fire-log brand switch that didn’t work at no cost, even though it wasn’t their fault. Highly recommend.

Fayette chimney sweep was awesome. Owned and operated by a local Fayetteville family, they came out for an inspection, chimney cleaning and refractory panel replacement. They were friendly and knowledgeable, showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, Communicated clearly, left our home nice and clean and most importantly cleaned and fixed our fireplace and chimney in time for the cold weather. Thanks again for the great work!

11/24/2025 Update…. Ron called me to discuss the situation. After I explained what took place in further detail, he offered to refund the inspection fee for the secondary fireplace. My review was pricing based and not the customer service piece. Punctuality and professionalism is great. I am updating to star rating as I cannot justifiably leave it at 1. If there was a different scoring that would allow me to give them a 5 star but then a sub rating on categories, I would. Initial post: I am sharing this as an FYI. It usually takes a lot for me to give a negative review but I feel this is necessary. I uses this company in 2021 and met Ron. Very professional, etc. we have two fireplaces one that is hardly used (maybe three times in 5 1/2 years- picture attached. Has never been cleaned). On that visit Rob did not charge since it was clear we do not use it. Fast forward 2025….again service and on time is great but, when the tech asked about the second fireplace, we walked over to it as I explained it is hardly used. He could tell that immediately. He looked in it (5 seconds maybe) and said did not need to be cleaned. When it was time to pay, shame on me, I did not confirm the amount he was charging. I was charged $199 for the main fireplace for clean & inspection. What I did not expect was another $99 for a quick glance. It was not inspected. I sent a note on 1/15 and have not received a response. Which is surprising because pre visit, response was very timely. I am not sure if they will refund the $99 but I wanted to make public aware…..if you have a fireplace you hardly use, do not let them look at it. As for friendliness, punctuality, they are great.
